A prestigious consultancy based in Guildford urgently require an experienced geotechnical engineerengineering geologist This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding geotechnical department within an award winning organisation
Working on a variety of ground engineering projects the successful candidate will have responsibilities such as
Design organisation and monitoring of site investigations
Preparing geotechnical and interpretive desk studies
Remedial strategy design
Candidates should be familiar with in situ testing methods and have up to date knowledge of British standards and Eurocode
The client has requested candidates who have an excellent academic background preferable degree qualifications are in the following disciplines BSc Geology Geoscience or Geochemistry ideally with MSc Environmental Engineering Contaminated Land or Engineering Geology
