Role Profile
To fully deal with predominatelyCouncil Tax and Benefit enquiries from both external and internal customers approaching the Customer Service Centre by telephone
To resolve the enquiry at the first point of contact delivering a high level of customer care To update the GovMetric system
To comply with the relevant statutory regulations codes of practice and agreed procedures and standards ensuring the operations are as economical and effective as possible thus contributing to the overall performance of the Department and the Council as a whole
To provide customer response via the telephone
To take various payments over the telephone
