A leading player in the Waste Management Sector seeks an experienced Laboratory Technician to join them on their new Anaerobic Digestion plant in the Birmingham area The Plant has recently opened and this is an exciting opportunity to be involved with the project from its early stages in a area which is becoming increasingly popular due to the move away from traditional Landfill sites here in the UK
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for all quality control testing on this newly operational Anaerobic Digestion plant undertaking analytical services of the different streams generated along the process whilst ensuring HS and environmental compliance including ABP and PAS110 all corresponds to the successful productivity of the plant You will be monitoring for a range of data including COD TS VS VFA pH alkalinity etc and an general understanding of these chemical procedures is expected
