pA growing company based in Maldon are urgently recruiting a Purchasing Assistant to join their team This role will report directly into the Purchasing Manager and will assist with the procurement of supplies materials services and equipment Successful candiadtes will be required to Monitor stock levels in line with forecasts and demands to ensure that stocks are held in accordance with agreed levels Raise Purchase Orders with suppliers and monitor and communicate with suppliers to ensure orders are fulfilled within timescales and and contractual agreements Liaise with suppliers and Customer Services to resolve any queries on purchase orders and sales orders prices stock delivery general enquiries Low level negotiation with suppliers on day to day issues prices lead times etc It would be advantageous if candidates have used the system SAGE before however ...
