Our high profile client is seeking an Underwriting Assistant in their Chelmsford office Your role will involve supporting the profitable development of our clients regional commercial business You will be developing new and existing relationships with regional brokers This is an excellent opportunity to progress into an Underwriting position within Commercial lines Working closely with the Senior Underwriters you will assist with the development of underwriting opportunities within the broker sector
To be successful you will
Possess a good understanding of general insurance underwriting principles coupled with solid office experience
The ability to process and input risks accurately
Have excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers and on your own
Ideally be working towards the professional Insurance qualifications
