My client is one of the leading producers of snack cakes in the UK and is currently looking to recruit a NPD Technologist for their site in Northamptonshire
Reporting directly to the NPD Manager successful candidates should have a passion for food and will be have the following day to day duties
New Product Development from conception to process and packaging
Documenting all data from trials including shelf life organoleptic and micro tests etc and ensure they are comprehensive and legible for future review in order to establish process capabilities and support due diligence
Prepare coordinate and conduct factory trials and provide appropriate reports and recommendations
Deliver the product from kitchen to full scale factory launch
Optimise and adapt existing and new production processes with focus on higher output better quality andor lowering production costs
