My client is a 4 hotel based in East Sussex looking for a Chef de Rang
Position Description
Reporting to the Restaurant Manager you will have responsibility for misenplace and preparation of Restaurant and equipment prior to service open breakfast lunch and dinner You will not only ensure that the restaurant consistently operates to a 2 AA Rosette standard but endeavours to make every meal an occasion for its guests You ensure that high standards are consistently maintained and procedures are followed
To be actively involved in the training of Commis Waiters and participate in any training exercises and to communicate with colleagues ensuring product knowledge and awareness of the Restaurant and hotel
Required Experience
Previous experience within a similar establishment as Chef de Rang or Demi Chef de Rang Must have a good knowledge of English
