Job Description

An HR officer is required for an initial 3 months contract for a South Wales Local Authorities Human Resources department

You will need to have operational experience of casework redundancy and providing advice

Main duties will involve undertaking activities to support employees and managers in a range of people management activities You will spend the majority of your time providing advice to line managers in relation to casework attending disciplinary hearings and grievance interviews resolving people management and pay related queries and issues You will usually work in an environment where you are face to face with Service Delivery colleagues and have regular interaction with your customers You will enjoy using your employee relations coaching and influencing skills to ensure the delivery of an effective timely and responsive customer experience

Previous experience as a HR Officer is mandatory
