In the position of Transport Manager you will lead manage and develop an existing team to ensure that our clients products are efficiently delivered from their main bakery in Glasgow to their shops in the surrounding areas Reporting to the Logistics Manager the role of Transport Manager is a critical to ensuring that our clients supply chain meets the highest standards of customer service and efficiency
As Transport Manager you will manage the transport department against both cost and customer KPIs and youll use detailed analysis of department performance to drive performance through your team The Transport Manager is also responsible for ensuring all aspects of food health and safety are maintained as well as supporting training and development initiatives for all of the transport team
