A leading development and research consultancy has an immediate requirement for an IT support administrator to provide 1st and 2nd line support to staff in our Oxford office and remotely around the world The role is varied and challenging and will be based within our IT team of four staff
We are looking for someone with previous helpdesk or IT support experience in a professional or academia environment with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft desktop applications and excellent customer service skills at all levels Experience enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential
Core responsibilities include
The first point of contact for all users ensuring IT problems are logged prioritised and dealt with accordingly
Provide support and resolving technical issues for users on hardware problems and on a range of applications including Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2010
