A leading European oil operator is seeking a systems / project accountant to be based in Scotland. The role will report directly into the Team Leader and the individual will have responsibility for the design, development, integration or implementation of improvements to current and new systems & procedures, relative to current operations or new acquisitions and developments.
The successful incumbent will have a strong oil industry accounting background, a passion for delivery and the ability to work on a variety of different projects and developments.
Experience:
*Can demonstrate experience and delivery in a similar roles
*Demonstrable technical accounting knowledge
*Good degree of accounting work experience
*Significant excel skills and experience of a variety of financial and non-financial information systems (SAAP, Oracle or SUN preferred)
*Work experience within an Oil & gas operator is preferred but not essential
