Job Purpose:
Our client is a Financial Management Organisation currently looking for a Senior Accounts and Reconciliation Manager. To lead a team to achieve optimum level of customer service and financial goals.

Budget Management as follows:
*Budget of 275k (Inc. 4% overtime allowance)
*Number of people at the centre: Target 289 FTE
*Volume of Cash out:Accounts based
*Volume of Cash in:Accounts based
Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
*Resource Support / Account processes and assist the recruitment procedure of suitable employees for the centre.
Retention and pipeline levels
*Ensure the Centre operates to its optimum efficiency / service level, attendance.
*Ensure employees are trained to maximise flexibility within the centre.
Service levels, training days, induction results
*Performance Management
Rating distribution, quality of appraisal, team performance
*Develop key employees to ensure a succession plan which would enhance their personal development
Skills Matrix, Internal Progression
*Effective communication and co-operation within the team
Feedback, surveys, team performance
*Work effectively as part of the management team and provide support through shifts where appropriate
Centre performance, observation, proposals, cross team working
Customer Service:
*Ensure that the department and centre meet and exceed agreed customer service levels
Service credit performance, complaints / compliments / feedback, balance scorecard
*Promotes a professional image to clients
*Client Feedback
Operational / Risk Control
*Maintain and enhance business through operational disciplines
Risk control, operational loss levels, internal audit stock takes
*Adherence to company and Bank of England Security Standards
Audit Reports (INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL)
*Inherent risk and control management of the business
Risks Managed, local risk registers
Financial Performance:
*Achieve Centre performance targets
Centre meets or exceeds agreed cost targets, including funding costs (includes NCS and Country note tolerances)
Other:
*Anticipate and prepare for specific opportunities / issues
Evidence of a pro - active management approach
Other general daily duties as delegated by centre manager to include:
*Other reporting requirements
*Internal operational audits
*Checking of departmental controls and checks
*General staff organisation
*Return to work interviews
