EXPERIENCED AND DRIVEN HOME MANAGER REQUIRED FOR DERBYSHIRE BASED CARE HOME Home Manager & #163;35,000 Salary Bakewell Area Rerecruit is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Home Manager for an established care home in the Bakewell area. The home is situated within the Peak District in a beautiful Grade II listed building and is made up of a young physically disabled unit for 7 residents aged between 18 ? 65, a nursing unit and an elderly residential and residential dementia unit The Home Manager will be expected to manage all operational aspects of the running of the home, to meet profit targets and to consistently ensure the highest levels of care are provided to residents at all times Requirements for the Role of Home Manager: o Nursing Qualification o Registered Managers Award o A minimum of 2 years Home Management experience Key duties and Responsibilities: o Management of all staff including recruitment and selection, training, development, appraisal and disciplinary of staff o Maximising revenue by striving to achieve maximum occupancy through marketing and sales activities o Monitoring and controlling costs against budget o Ensuring the Home meets all regulatory and statutory requirements o Ensuring potential residents are assessed appropriately to establish suitability before admission o Maintaining good working relationships with Care Commissions, Social Services Departments and any other external regulatory bodies o Ensuring the building and grounds are maintained and looked after o Ensuring that a full activities programme is available in order to enhance the well being of residents o Handling and resolving all complaints or issues As a leading recruiter in Health & amp; Social Care we are always looking for suitable qualified Care Professionals to work in our homes in permanent jobs that are based UK Wide, If you cannot see a area or a position you are interested to working in, please give us a call.
