Essential skills:
*Technology Stack - JavaScript, JQuery, XHTML, HTML5, CSS
*Experience developing quality software using agile techniques such as Test Driven Development and XP (including Pair Programming)
*The person needs to be able to work within a XP team setup and bring something new to the team
*Progressive enhancement web design skills
In addition, any experience working on high traffic media or news websites is highly desirable!!!
This is a working environment where you will be expected to bring new ideas to the team and portray a passion and flair for web development, including best ways of practise. You will be brought in to work on high traffic/high performance websites, so experience working within a a similar environment is essential.
