Repair Engineer Electronics Test Service Engineer
A self motivated Repair Engineer is required for the Quality Department of my specialist client based in Fareham Hampshire
Reporting to the Calibration and Repair Supervisor the Repair Engineer will be responsible for carrying out the duties listed below
Role Overview
Fault finding and repair of all test equipment within the business in the best timecost effective manner types of equipment include power amplifiers receivers communications test sets signal generators scopes and ACDC power sources Repairs are usually performed to component level so a good understanding of electronic circuits is required
Work with Quality Engineer in prioritising work load to ensure high priority test equipment is returned to service as soon as possible
Where repair inhouse is not possible arrange and manage external subcontracts
Source and purchase spare parts as required and maintain a stock of the commonly used...
