An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Childrens Long Term Care Social Worker to join a Childrens Long Term Care Team in West Yorkshire
The role of Childrens Long Term Care Social Worker is a key part of Childrens Services providing ongoing support guidance and review of childrensfamilies cases Caseloads include court work core assessments review of looked after children child protection reviews of foster placements monitoring child family progress etc advocating on behalf of the child etc This role involves dealing with a wide variety of people from various backgrounds and a nonjudgemental approach is key to safeguarding the interests of the child at all time
Ideal candidates will have 6 months post qualifying experience within a similar childrens team and be a car driver This role is initially for 3 months though likely to be extended for good applicants
