We are currently recruiting for a full time Building Surveyor in Newport for a 3 month contract
Requirements and Responsibilities
Completing property surveys
Conducting the preparation of reports
Liaising with the relevant contractors concerning the nature of maintenance required
Covering both the procurement and the management of the works
Liaising with tenants
Carrying out pre and post inspections
Ensuring works are completed on time and to budget
Essential Skills
Experience of completing surveys and reports
Knowledge of the Welsh Housing Quality StandardsDecent Homes Standards
Proven experience in the procurement and management of small scale projects
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Must be able to drive and have access to a car
Desirable Skills
A demonstrable ability to work on ones own
An enhanced CRB
