About the Role:
As a Customer Data Analyst you will provide data analysis for the Customer Analytics Team and live our values of 'No one tries harder for customers'. You will help provide the data requirements of marketing through ensuring data integrity of our Marketing Database and supporting our suppliers data inflows and outflows.
Who we are looking for:
Knowledge of a programme language to interrogate data (SQL and SAS preferred but others considered)
Knowledge of how marketing campaigns are created from a central marketing database
Use of any column based software package (i.e. FastStats, Alterian, Smartfocus), preferred but not essential
Ability to work with large volumes of data
Excellent understanding of data structures and architectures (i.e. Entity relationship Diagrams, table/view builds)
An understanding of ETL (extract/transform/load) processes included data audit and integrity checks
Ability to document processes
An understanding of data security principles
Understanding of marketing database concepts (Single customer views)
Strong data analysis skills (data quality metrics)
Financial services experience would be beneficial but not essential
