We are looking for a Assistant Accountant to work on an ongoing temporary contract in Tewkesbury
The organisation are a Housing Association that provides social and supported housing to residents within Tewkesbury and Gloucestershire
The role is to be responsible for the correct recording of data in the organisations financial accounting records gathering information data and statistics for the presentation of management reports
Duties include
Ensuring the correct rent and service charges are made for each property
Balance credits and debits
Ensure rent and arrears records are updated and amended as necessary to produce accurate management reports
Ensure housing benefit payments are posted to the correct resident account
Ensure that debtors accounts monitored and that debt collection procedures are initiated in the correct manner
