An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self motivated enthusiastic and determined transport operative Working within a busy traffic department you will be responsible for ensuring that all morning activities evening activities Shift dependent are carried out in a professional and competent manner The job will involve liaising with drivers warehouse staff customers and depots on ETA calls monitoring deliveries and dealing with general operational queries
The main duties will include
Liaise with drivers ensuring that they are all fully briefed and ensuring they manage their daily tasks in a time efficient manner
Be able to plan efficiently for multidrop deliveries and collections
To put delivery notes to the drivers manifests for the days runs ensuring that all paperwork is correct and present
Replan loads if necessary to ensure that all work is covered with minimal disruption to the customers needs
Liaise with drivers to check on progress ...
