Job Description

Sales Representative Northern Ireland & Surrounding Counties

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Rep with a background in engineering & technical Sales for a global company. You will have 4 -5 years commercial sales experience within the industrial industry.

You will be responsible for maintaining and maximising existing business, while developing future business opportunities. Developing and growing relationships with 3rd Party contractors and networking within the industry.

Daily Duties:
Responsible for a given geographic sales territory Northern Ireland & Surrounding Republic Of Ireland Counties
Develop and grow the Temperature Control & Moisture Control business
Actively prospect for new customers within the designated sales territory 70%
Maintain and develop existing depot business 30%
Creating new sales opportunities through existing contracts and through an awareness and understanding of the local economy
Cold calling both existing and prospective customers
Preparing quotations for customers
Preparing contingency plans for customers
Preparing sales reports on a weekly/monthly basis
Develop and implement a territory sales plan



Working Environment
This field based position involves working with a varied customer base and involves the majority of time being spent away from the depot
Participation in the On-Call rota as appropriate



Qualifications

Essential
Minimum C Grade GCSE/O level in Mathematics and English


Desirable
Minimum C Grade GCSE/O level in Science based subject



Skills
Technically minded - able to understand and learn about industrial applications
Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and customers
Ability to work under a low level of supervision
Ability to work under own initiative.
Hold a full, clean driving licence
PC literate Word, Excel & PowerPoint
