A Technical Author is required to undertake an initial 6 month contract vacancy based in Central London for a government end client
Role Purpose
The Technical Author will be responsible for the production of work instructions for safety critical maintenance tasks determining the appropriate balance of text to illustrations and creating accurate and easy to understand text as necessary within project timescales and quality standards and with technical input from the relevant Subject Matter Experts and frontline staff
Key Accountabilities
To manage the production and delivery of high quality work instructions in defined areas to timescales as determined by the project so the client has a comprehensive unified and easily referenced set of work instructions for safety critical maintenance tasks
