On behalf of our client we are looking to recruit Skilled Vertical Lathe Operative
This position would be ideal for a skilled CNC Turner with VTL experience
Our client is a world leader in the design and manufacture if pumps valves and cyclones for the mining and mineral processing industry The client has seen significant growth within the last 5 years and continues to grow year on year
Essential skillsknowledgeexperience
Ability to operate CNC and Manual Vertical Lathes
Ability to operate Horizontal borers machining a variety of components in Chrome and SG Irons
Fully conversant with FANUC controls
Confident in a medium to heavy engineering environment
Competent to produce products to a specific requirement and high standard
Willingness to adopt Lean manufacturing principles
Motivation towards improving health and safety culture
Positive attitude to modern manufacturing processes
