Our client currently has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Commercial Underwriter to join their team based in Belfast You will be writing Property and Casualty risks within the Northern Ireland Corporate and SME Market
Responsibilities
Provide both new business and renewal underwriting expertise ensuring that first class customer relationships are forged and developed
You will provide leadership and guidance to the existing underwriting team ensuring that the relevant technical standards and controls are adhered to
Providing support with regards to mentorship and development of the team
Requirements
Previous experience within a commercial underwriting capacity with extensive Property and Casualty exposure
Strong trading focus and excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a varied workload
