Purpose of the Role To nsure a reliable and consistent supply of purified biological reagents to meet customer requirements
The Role itself Laboratory Manager
Ensure relevant staff are recruited and trained to support the purification schedule
Manage the performance of all staff to maximise manufacturing efficiency to meet the purification schedule and remain within the cost centre budget
Minimise ERs discards and MUV within the manufacturing area
Maximise staff flexibility by suitable training and development to ensure full process cover and minimise impact of staff turnover
Ensure that all purification manufacturing areas are audit ready at all times
Plan for future manufacturing requirements by reviewing process capabilities and ensure personnel recruitment and CAPEX submissions are timely and accurate
