We are looking for an experienced Centre Lathe Turner The role involves operating a range of manual and CNC lathes as well as other tool room equipment to produce metal parts and assemblies as required These could be one off parts or various sized production runs You would assist in developing new products and programming CNC equipment and finishing products after machining Produce turned parts such as punches dies and other toolage and assemblies to specification or from samples in various metals inc mild stainless and tool steels These could be produced as one offs prototypes or large runs for stock Operate manual lathes and other tool room equipment and program and operate Protrak Fanuc based CNC machines in pursuant of the above Must have Experience of operating programming Turning Centres with GE Fanuc CNC controls Experience of operating programming XYZ Prototrack lathes General experience of other engineering machines such as millers grinders drilling mach...
