We are currently recruiting for the position of Puchasing Assistant for our client based in Corby Northamptonshire
Your primary objective will be to assist buyers estimators
While this role is a junior position within the purchasingproduction team you have an integral position that is vital to the success or failure of the purchasingproduction function As such you will be called upon to assist in a variety of tasks which include
Administrative functions necessary to develop and purchase products
Examples are
Raising purchase orders
Updating control documents
The above will require a proven aptitude for numeracy and MS Excel both of which are key skills required to develop further within the purchasingproduction team
Sending job bags and packages to suppliers
Distribution of samples and reports within the business
Runs between client sites
Assisting in the approval process of samples pre and post manufacture
