The Job
To ensure that the Company accounts within your control are effectively underwritten within your delegated authority The successful candidate will calculate quotations be involved in facetoface negotiations on non standard quotations carry out pricing reviews profit share and quote share reinsurance calculations Contribute to new business tenders working closely with Underwriting Managers to assist the Company in achieving the maximum sustainable business requirements of growth and profitability To provide technical underwriting guidance and assistance to internal and external customers as appropriate
Experience required
The successful candidate will have sound insurance and underwriting knowledge gained from considerable commercial experience
