An exciting opportunity for a Qualified Social Worker to work for an Independent Agency providing Fostering and Residential Care in Yorkshire
You will be based in Barnsley and be responsible for South Yorkshire and North East Lincs Your role will include to deal with referrals support foster carers and attend meeting regarding the young people in care
You will ensure that all fostering households comply with the Foster Care Agreement and the plans relating to the child they care for and ensure that carers understand these and the tasks required
You will ensure that the carers provide a safe healthy nurturing and learning environment for children young people Additionally within which the child will have opportunity to learn by continually monitoring the carers suitability and competence
You will support carers by telephone and home visits on a regular basis
