Our client is looking for an experienced YOT Officer to join their team in South London Applicants must have significant experience of case management of young offenders in a YOT including assessments and writing interventionrisk management plans to be considered You must hold a recognised qualification for work with children or young people ie be a qualified Probation Officer Teacher Social Worker etc with a minimum 12 months YOT case management experience to be eligible for this position
The successful applicant will be responsible for their own case load of young offenders including medium high risk offenders This will involve assessing individual offenders to identify the factors which have contributed to offending delivering tailored interventions designed to reduce offending and preparing presentence and other reports for courts following assessment
The option for flexible working hours may also be available
