Direct Marketing Selections Analyst Role Overview:

The Direct Marketing Selections Analyst role will prove to be an exciting and challenging role for a marketing analyst who is eager to provide targeted selection data for leading direct marketing campaigns aimed to improve business performance. This is a vital role required by the client and you will be responsible for driving direct marketing strategies for the client by gaining insights into customers. The commercially based client is currently looking for a marketing analyst to join their direct marketing function to help provide better targeted marketing campaigns to customers in order to ensure that product performance is increased. Boasting an immense customer base and international coverage, this group is able to offer candidates a challenging and progressive career in customer driven analytics and data strategy. Your role will be orientated around the manipulation and analysis of campaign, product and behavioural customer data, to help shape future direct marketing and communication strategies for your clients and product teams.

The Person:

You will need to be a forward thinking Marketing Analyst, able to demonstrate a sound grounding in marketing / insight analytics and CRM campaign analytics. You will have gained experience in the following areas:

- Proven experience in building, or working with customer profiles and segmentations

- Experience in a marketing / insight environment, with an emphasis on large customer data sets

- You will need to have experience of using statistical tools skills such as SPSS, SQL, SAS and or Excel

- It will be useful to have a solid academic background in a relevant field e.g. maths, statistics, economics, operational research etc
