School of Nursing & Midwifery
We are the main provider of midwifery education in the north east of Scotland with a first class midwifery team and simulated clinical learning centre to ensure students receive a stimulating learning experience to best prepare them for midwifery practice.
As a lecturer you will contribute to the delivery and development of the School's portfolio of midwifery courses and actively engage in scholarly, research and consultancy activities.
You will be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a midwife and will currently be employed in either midwifery practice, research or education.
Whatever your background, we expect you to have extensive knowledge of contemporary midwifery practice, evidence informed midwifery practice and emerging midwifery policy drivers.
You will be expected to advance your academic career through profession relevant studies and will be required to have/gain a teaching qualification recorded with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Salary: £36,862 - £44,016

This post is subject to the individual being required to join the PVG scheme.
