I am currently representing a privately owned automotive first tier supplier who is looking for a German speaking customer liaison engineer. Due to replacement they are keen to get an experienced customer facing quality engineer on board as soon as possible. The organisation is self-financed and offers its employees job security and has an in house policy of training internally, in order to offer its staff career progression. This role will report to the Quality Assurance Executive Manager.
As the customer liaison engineer you will communicate with suppliers’ face to face dealing with any concerns. This role has an element of travel in that the engineer will be travelling across the UK as well as to Europe in order to deal with any issues the customer has.
Skills and experience:
- You must be conversationally fluent in German in order to apply for this role.
- Have a strong understanding of 8D reports.
- Have experience of dealing with customers (prep OEM’s although not essential)
- Be able to build relationships quickly.
- Be flexible to travel internationally regularly.
