A leading Automotive company based in Berkshire is looking for the next Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team to help manage and drive improvements across site and liaise with customers.
The responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Engineer are as follows:
• To manage and conduct the completion of APQP activities and customer PPAP submissions • Ensure that all products and processes comply with automotive standard TS16949 • Co-ordinating 8D/corrective actions/containment procedures • Both internal and external/supplier auditing activities• Administration and analysis of Key Quality Metrics, highlighting trends, lessons learned and opportunities for improvement
To fulfil these requirements you must have the following skills/experience:
• Educated to degree level / equivalent experience • Strong manufacturing background • Strong understanding of Automotive standard TS16949 • Proven ability to drive successful improvement projects and auditing • Proven experience in working with PPAP/APQP • Excellent communication and presentation skills
