The responsibilities of the role are as follows:
There are three key areas of this role:
- Responsible for new parts development.
- Providing support for mass production.
- Customer facing, dealing with external complaints, travelling around the country/ travelling internationally to resolve issues with suppliers.
To fulfil these requirements you must have the following skills and experience:
- Have a solid automotive background.
- Have experience using key tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA and 8D.
- Experience of dealing with suppliers and solving problems.
- Confident and authority to be able to travel the UK/ internationally resolving customers complaints/ issues/
- Experience of dealing with OEMs (preferable)
- Come from a plastic injection moulding background (pref not essential)
- Have experience of pressing/ welding (pref not essential)
