Quality Engineer
Salary is £30K (max is £33K).
Essential: Must have previous experience as a Quality Engineer in an Aerospace manufacturing company, with Root Cause Analysis experience.
Key Tasks:
Deputise in Manager's absence
Archiving of Quality Records
Ensure Product Audit programmes are maintained
Update and issue of systems documentation
Review and approve internal, customer, regulatory and supplier documentation where required
Ensure First Article Inspection reports (FAIR) are completed and packaged in a timely manner
Collection and Reporting on Non-Conformance Reports raised
To maintain process control (SPC) across the manufacturing/assembly and test areas of the business
To carry out Gauge R+R studies and implement necessary changes
Maintain Corrective Action Reports (CAR's) and FRACAS
Ensure internal and external Quality audit programmes are maintained
Evaluation and maintenance of our Supplier Quality System
To actively participate in, and promote, Continuous Improvement activities
Plan and organise own work and accept responsibility on a day-to-day basis without the need for supervision
Acting as an Auditee (Escort) for Regulatory and Customer Audits
Delegated Release Inspection (i.e. DQCR activities)
Any other tasks considered commensurate with your role by your manager
Results / Measures:
Quality Audits (internal and external) to plan
FAIR's completed to meet deadlines
Corrective Action management targets to plan
Timely updating of manuals, procedures, processes etc
Completion of actions on time to reduce/eliminate risk.
Business Improvement projects satisfactorily completed to plan
Goals:
