Job Description

FRL have been instructed by one of our key clients to identify and recruit a Area Facilities Manager for their Estate Management business in the South East of England. Ideally, candidates should be Essex based.

The Area Facilities Manager candidate will be responsible for the commercial and operational management of a number of mixed use retail and leisure estates in the South East, outside of the M25. Ranging from West Sussex through to Essex and into Buckinghamshire.

The successful candidate will predominantly be based in Essex, and will act in a regional capacity, managing a selection of 'virtual teams'.

Excellent commercial acumen is essential to the success of the role, with the Area Facilities Manager being responsible for Service Charge Budgets across each estate. Previous experience of managing service charges would be advantageous although not essential.

The successful Area Facilities Manager candidate will have a track record of high calibre service delivery in a similar multi-site role, and posses excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with and deliver to multiple stakeholders including local authorities, emergency services, tenants, customers and staff.

Our client are offering a salary of 40,000 per annum, plus travel allowance.
