Specification: Our client, a major global banking organisation, is seeking an experienced candidate to join their Trade & Supply Chain team to provide International Business solutions across a range of trade products to commercial customers.
Focussing on SME businesses, you will liaise with business leaders via telephone and face-to-face meetings and be responsible for identifying customer's needs, explaining the benefits of a wide international product range and match appropriate solutions to meet their requirements.
The jobholder will instigate new practices and procedures to maximise sales revenue and minimise credit/operational risk. You will also be responsible for the swift and satisfactory resolution of customer queries/complaints.
Essential Skills: Successful candidates will have a proven background in trade finance with in-depth product knowledge of a range of products and instruments for different applications. You will be a strong relationship-builder with a successful track-record in business origination in the import/export finance sector. You will have an excellent eye for detail and a conscientious approach and employ a practical yet innovative solutions to business needs. A natural team player with the ability to work independently when required, you will have strong relationship building and excellent negotiation skills.
