My client is looking to recruit a Quality Engineer to join on them on an initial 9-month contract.
The responsibilities of the Quality Engineer are as follows:
Key APQP involvement for all new products – PPAP, including FMEA’s, Control Plans, MSA, etc
Dealing with customer complaints and non-conforming products
Root cause analysis using FMEA, 8D and other quality tools
Continuous improvement
The successful applicants will possess the following key skills and abilities:
• Educated to HND level / equivalent experience
• An Automotive or Aerospace background would be an advantage
• Have in-depth knowledge of problem solving/continuous improvement processes – (8D, route cause analysis and FMEA)
• Excellent Communication & IT skills
