A leading Automotive company based in Oxfordshire is looking for the next Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team to help manage and drive improvements across site and liaise with customers.
The responsibilities of the Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer are as follows:
• To manage and conduct the completion of APQP process for all new BOP’s and manage PPAP’s after acceptance by the plant
• Ensure that all products and processes within the supply chain comply with automotive standard TS16949
• Complete management and development of the plant SQA function
• Management of the suppliers 8D process/problem resolutions
• A large part of this role will be based on maintaining a transparent relationship with the supplier and ensuring that all issues and performance reviews are addressed and a large amount of travel
To fulfil these requirements you must have the following skills/experience:
• Educated to degree level / equivalent experience
• Strong manufacturing background in a supplier quality assurance engineer role
• Strong understanding of Automotive standard TS16949
• Proven ability to drive successful improvement projects at the supplier base
• Proven experience in working with a OEM
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
