I am currently representing a privately owned automotive first tier supplier who is looking for a STA Manager. Due to replacement they are keen to get an experienced STA Manager on board as soon as possible. The organisation is self-financed and offers its employees job security and has an in house policy of training internally, in order to offer its staff career progression. This role will report to the Quality Assurance Executive Manager.
As the STA manger you will be responsible for a STA technician and up to 13 suppliers. This role entails international travel to Europe to liaise with suppliers, resolving any concerns. You will also be responsible for new product introduction and development.
Skills and experience:
- New Product Introduction experience.
- Fully understand each step of 8D reports.
- Customer facing experience/
- Experience of APQP,PPAP.
- Be available to travel internationally.
