Our client a global leader in Aerospace Engineering are looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer for a 12 month contract based in Bristol A Mechanical Design Engineer is required to work on civil and defence aero engine design projects within the combustion and casing design team The successful candidates will work on a variety of programmes serviced by Combustion and Casings The majority of the work would be Trent XWB related but would also incorporate support to ongoing Defence programmes Essential Candidates will need to have a strong background in concept development and a strong design make awareness from the aerospace or automotive industry You should be degree qualified and have the ability to liaise with the stress and performance departments The successful candidates will produce component schemes and design reports and will integrate heavily with manufacture to optimise cost weight and performance of products Desirable Skills It is highly desirable fo...
