We are looking to recruit an Internal Planning Engineer for our client in Lancashire who is a worldwide leading manufacturer of high performance engineered plastics
Purpose of the Job
The primary function of this role is to implement best practices for the production of engineered components and the provision of competitive quotations
Tasks will include
Estimating cycle time and best methods for potential components
Creation of items and routings on company real time ERPEnterprise Resource Planning system
Reviewing costs and methods for accuracy and continuous improvement
Assisting sales Managers to provide technical support to internal operations
The successful candidate will be required to coordinate activities between UK internal sales operations and European Technical Centres and to create detailed drawings and solid models as required
