Our client is a speciality Chemicals Manufacturer based in the Fylde area They are currently looking for a Instrument Maintenance Technician on a contract basis for around a 6 month period with the possibility of longer term work
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
To carry out predictive maintenance surveys and record results in order to maintain at minimum cost the instrument equipment on the plant in a condition where they can safely and efficiently produce the output needed to meet business requirements
To troubleshoot equipment problemsfailures associated with diagnosis of faults and the repair of measurement control equipment including process control atmosphere sampling and process quality analysers and determine actions required so that reoccurrence is prevented Failure of atmospheric analysers results in plant evacuation
