The Role Product Development Engineer Development Engineer
To provide engineering knowledge and support to the companies Development and New Product Introduction activities
1 To develop new products in line with the business strategy
2 To develop awareness of technological trends opportunities and implementation where appropriate throughout the business
3 To develop new materials in conjunction with the supply base
4 To source new materials in support of the companies RFQ process
5 To complete project work in line with customer business requirements
6 To ensure that all New products are introduced in a timely manner and comply with customers requirements
7 To complete initial sample trials and tool try outs on new products
8 To complete visits to new and existing suppliers where required
