Our client is one of the leading waste management services companies in the UK they have an immediate vacancy for a Landfill Site Manager based in Barrow in Furness south of the Lake District
You role will have 4 key elements
Management of the operational landfill as well as responsible for the ongoing management development of 3 closed sites
To ensure that the Site is operated in an efficient safe manner with proper regard to environmental compliance customer service levels the needs of the local community
To ensure the Site manages organises the efficient safe handling of waste material the adoption of best practice principles the control of operational costs within budget
Enable landfill gas to be extracted efficiently to maximise environmental compliance
