As Estimating Manager this role will inherit a small estimating function and lead all commercial estimating process from the Bournemouth site of this international and leading aerospace structure and component manufacturing business
Reporting the Commercial Director the Estimating Manager will be based at the Bournemouth Manufacturing facility and will be principally involved in leading all commercial estimating process for the preparation of bid submissions detailed estimates and project plans liaising with the customer and assisting in new product capture programmes
Managing the small estimating team this roles essential responsibilities will be
Compilation of complex Estimates for technical aerospace manufacturing projects
Preparation of bids and proposals
Research into new methods and technologies in the manufacture of aerospace components
Liaison with customer building new customer relationships and maintenance of existing customer relationships
