Our client based in Harlow are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to ensure that all products and services used are sold on by our client are purchased and delivered in a timely and efficient manner at the correct price level Working with the Product Managers to ensure availability and margins are achieved and KPIs for the supply chain are maintained
Key Responsibilities
To ensure that products and services are ordered and delivered on time
Raise purchase orders to suppliers products and services
Expedite orders and liaise with suppliers on a daytoday basis addressing supply problems
Maintain high service levels on product availability in line with data supplied from Slimstock and Product Analyst
Schedule and reschedule orders as delivery priorities and supplier schedules change
Resolve issues and queries with products liaising with goods in where necessary ensuring that any issues are resolved quickly
