Service Care Solutions currently have a unique requirement for a skilled motor vehicle technician in Northampton The role on offer is an exciting opportunity to work for the Northamptonshire Police Force on a full time temporary basis for 2 months with a possibility of a contract extension depending on performance
Within this role you will be expected to
carry out scheduled servicing and ad hoc repairs of all the police vehicles including cars light commercial vehicles motorcycles and plant equipment
diagnose analyse and investigate faults on own initiative
carry out MOT inspections assist forensic investigation officers and stolen vehicle examiners
supervise apprentice technicians
compile detailed repair reports
fitting specialist police equipment
fitment of vehicle livery
vehicle recoveries
fabrication
workshop maintenance
