My client is currently looking for a Unit Manager RGN for a medium sized dual registered nursing home care home in Virginia Water This home provides nursing social care for frail elderly and mentally infirm The home has an excellent reputation and a good rating from the care quality commission
The Role
35 hours
4 days on the floor 1 day in the office
Overall unit management
Coordinate staffing
Respond to incidents
Supervision and appraisal of all staff on the ward
Leading audit and drug stock take processes for the unit
Delivery of a sensitive efficient care service to all patients
Leading and developing your team personnel and financial management
Adherence to policy and protocols and utilising your professional competence to drive standards
The Candidate
RGN qualification
Experience if managing a nursing team
Mature assertive and decisive
Have a valid NMC Pin Number
Complete satisfactory POVA and CRB checks
Must have experience at supervisory level
